This frosting is different from all other frostings. Most people like it very much. Adults especially like it!
4Tbs Flour
1 Cup Milk
Slowly mix together until lumps are gone. I use a wire whip. Cook in microwave until it thickens to a paste. Be careful here. I nuke it a bit and keep checking it. Cool in Refrigerator completely.
2 Sticks Parkay (You can try other margarines or even butter but it does say Parkay)
1 Cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
Whip Parkay with Sugar and vanilla until well mixed. My mother whips it forever.
Add the cold flour paste mixture to the butter and whip it some more. That it. frost your cake.
My father's favorite is yellow cake with this frosting. I kind of like it on Chocolate cake but the yellow cake is also excellent.
